This week Steve and the Real Food Carrot look at what's wrong with Special K as a breakfast option. Besides being loaded with sugar and highly processed, the average 'kiwi' serving of Special K is 3 x the recommended amount on the box, and has about 20% of your daily requirements of sodium in one bowl.  It's also 10 x as expensive as the equivalent weight in porridge oats.

Oats provide far superior nutrition at a fraction of the cost. Oats don't have to be boring, just check us out to see how to add drama and excitement to even the plainest bowl of oats.
