For most of my adult life I have struggled with my weight. I progressively put on more and more and it really started to affect my health, relationships and enjoyment of life.
I couldn't look at myself in the mirror, I was diagnosed with depression, anxiety and chronic fatigue, and never ever wanted to go out. It was the pits.
After an amazing experience travelling overseas, I had a new found zest for life and wanted to get it together. After a recommendation from one of my best friends - Jo, I joined up at Results Room with Chris and have not looked back.
I broke my wrist in February 2013and for awhile I lost my mojo, but Chris was so supportive and such a hard task master that I kept going and now I am fitter and stronger than I have ever been. Strong is the new skinny :)
Amongst the training results achieved at Results Room, I've run a half marathon and competed in the 12km Tough Guy and Gal challenge- challenges I was never previously determined to achieve. I've lost over 12kgs, including over 11cm from my chest and dropped at least two dress sizes. I've set some new goals as there is alot more I want to achieve with my health and fitness.
All of the trainers and members at Results Room are so supportive and friendly. I've made some good friends there and I am LOVING life- SO I think there is alot to be happy about :)
