Salad in a jar is the perfect take to work lunch. Make a few at the beginning of the week, leave in the fridge, and you have a quick and ready to go lunchbox option - just add some protein and small amount of carbohydrate and you have the perfect meal.

You're free to add exactly what you enjoy in a salad. Avoid quick to perish items (avos & tomatoes) unless you're making it on the day. 1. Take your canning jar and layer with your salad ingredients: dressing goes on the bottom, then the heaviest and least absorbent veges, finally working your way up to the leafy greens. 2. When you're ready to eat simply shake out into a bowl. The shaking will dress the salad and you're ready to go.
