Unlike many trainers my fitness journey started later in life. After years of unhealthy living and minimal physical activity, I became sick and tired of constantly feeling sick and tired, so I decided to turn my life around. 


I discovered, and immediately fell in love with, CrossFit. This is where I learnt that fitness could be fun and exciting, not just from the results, but in the process. Where I once suffered from the delusion that fitness meant going for long, boring runs, or standing in front of a mirror doing bicep curls, I realised it was so much more. Training can be varied in ways that keep it fresh and interesting. As you become fitter and stronger you can also gain agility, power and coordination that make everyday life so much easier and more enjoyable. Fitness became more than a passion for me but a way of life.


Healthy eating and exercise had such a positive impact on my life that I decided I wanted to move into the fitness industry and help other people experience the kind of improvements to quality of life that I had. I earned my CrossFit trainer certification, completed the NASM International Personal Trainer qualification and went on to become a certified group fitness instructor at New Zealand’s biggest gym.


Through a background in the food industry, and years of experimenting with different nutrition plans I have gathered a great understanding of healthy eating and how to design a diet to feel better, shred fat and/or build muscle. Whether you want to lose weight, gain strength, increase mobility, improve cardiovascular fitness, or just feel healthier and enjoy a longer, better quality life, I can help you reach your goals. I am living proof that you can make positive changes to your life, and that through conscious endeavor, anything is possible.

My interests lie almost entirely in fitness, particularly CrossFit, Olympic Weightlifting, HIIT and Group Fitness. I also love to cook, explore the outdoors, travel, and I won’t turn down a good book or movie.
